    Silver Spring Marine

Silver Spring Marine is open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday by appointment.

    From the North Rt 95
South to the Rt 4 exit. Follow Rt 4 to Rt 1. Follow Rt 1 to the Pond Street Exit, take a left at the bottom of the ramp and we are a few yards down on the left.

    From the South Rt 95
North, exit at Connecticut Exit #92. At the bottom of the ramp take a right, follow Rt 2 about 3 miles to Rhode Island Rt 78. Take a right on to Rt 78 and follow to the end. Take a left there on to US Route 1. Head 18 miles North on Route One to the Pond Street exit. At the bottom of the ramp take a left and look for us on the right.

Silver Spring Marine is located at the head of Point Judith Pond where the Pond meets US Route 1. Silver Spring Marine is the marina located the furthest west at:

    N 41o 25' 38"
    W 71o 30' 02"

Starting at the Point Judith Harbor of Refuge (41, 22N/71, 29W) proceed north up the pond to green buoy 33. The well-marked channel will bring you to the head of the pond where you face several marinas. Silver Spring Marine is the furthest marina on your left.

The Pond has some shallow areas, so be sure to stay in the channel while navigating. The Point Judith Harbor of Refuge is only eight miles from Block Island and a short distance from Newport, Narragansett Bay and Long Island Sound.

The pond is a fairly calm place to stay during a storm. Docking is easy because there is no current and there are floating docks. The staff monitors VHF channel 7. For a larger view of the chart CLICK HERE.
